Ultra-smooth PBT keycaps

PBT material keycap

We use PBT material for our button keycaps, the same material used in high-end keyboards. The ultra-smooth surface allows for easy flick and slide inputs.

Why is a smooth material advantageous?

Advantages of smooth material

Traditional fighting game buttons have long used glossy button caps. However, with the popularity of leverless controllers, "flick inputs" have become very important in modern fighting games. Therefore, a material that minimizes button friction can be said to be the most suitable for button caps.

This flick input is widely used by professional gamers, and some even use finger sleeves or gloves to reduce button friction.

Fast response with AP 0.8mm / TT 1.8mm

AP/TT specifications

Equipped with new silent switches from Kailh. Features fast response with AP 0.8mm / TT 1.8mm and short travel.

AP (Actuation Point)
The distance until a key input is registered. Lower values mean faster response. In fighting games, this directly relates to input speed, making it an important value for both leverless and lever-type arcade sticks. Most general key switches are around 1.2mm, with anything under 1mm considered fast response.
TT (Total Travel)
Also referred to as "total stroke," this is the distance from the unpressed state to the fully pressed state. Lower values mean faster return to neutral. This affects the response of returning to neutral, so it's especially important for movement buttons, making it a crucial value for leverless controllers. Conversely, for attack buttons, it has less direct impact on response, so its importance is lower.

Dual Hot-Swappable

Dual Hot-Swap

Compatible with Kailh Low Profile and Gateron Low Profile switches.

What is Hot-Swap?
Unlike buttons where switches are soldered, "hot-swappable" buttons allow you to freely change switches. Furthermore, this product supports both Kailh and Gateron low-profile switches, offering a wide range of choices for silent operation, key feel, response speed, and more. In recent years, manufacturers like Kailh and Gateron have been continuously developing competition-grade switches, which have evolved tremendously compared to key switches of a few years ago. With hot-swappable buttons, even if new switches are released in the future, you can simply replace the switches to utilize the latest performance.

Running Cost Comparison

Running cost comparison

Hot-swapping not only allows you to swap to different switches but also to replace them with the same switches. This means maintenance is extremely easy, and only the switches need to be replaced, resulting in lower running costs.

The official data for the switches used in this product states a durability of 50 million clicks, but wear and tear are unavoidable as they are physical switches. However, hot-swap compatibility allows you to minimize running costs.
