DRMFTG Raspberry Pi Pico GP2040-CE Firmware Update/Initialization/Pass-Through Settings
[Download the initialization file + firmware below as preparation]
- flash_nuke.uf2 (initialization file)
- GP2040-CE_0.7.8_DRMFTG_FL.uf2 (Firmware for DRM JS/DRM FL/DRM Fighting Box)
- GP2040-CE_0.7.8_DRMFTG_Slim.uf2 (Firmware for DRM Slim)
*Please make sure to use the initialization file above before using the firmware.
This firmware changes the following settings:
- Supports pass-through (requires pass-through set )
- Changed the "EX/BACK button " in the DRM Fighting Box to the " SELECT button " , and the " SELECT button " to "Not set " (to comply with official CPT rules and to prevent unintentional setting changes/not set buttons can also be freely changed from the web config)
- Removed shortcuts such as turning movement buttons into right sticks and inverting up and down (to prevent unintentional setting to right stick or inverting up and down)
[Firmware update/initialization/pass-through support]
1. Connect the USB while holding down the "START" + "SELECT" + "↑" buttons. *If you have changed the wiring or button layout, press the above buttons after changing them.
A folder called "RPI-RP2" will automatically appear as a removable drive.
*If the above shortcuts cannot be used, please open the folder using steps 1-1 to 1-3 below.
1-1. Connect to your PC while holding down the "START button" and access 192.168.7.1 in your browser.
(If there is no response, try refreshing the page and reinserting the USB.)
1-2. Select "Reboot" on the top right

1-3. Select "USB(BOOTSEL)"
2. Drag and drop the "flash_nuke.uf2" file you downloaded in advance onto "RPI-RP2" and wait a few seconds.
3. Drag and drop the "GP2040-CE_0.7.8_DRMFTG.uf2" file you downloaded in advance onto "RPI-RP2" and wait until the device is restarted.
4. The settings of the device you are using will also be reset to their default settings, so reconnect the USB while pressing the buttons below.
- Use on PC → Connect while holding down the "○ button"
- For use with PS5/PS4 → Connect while holding down the "△ button"
- Use with Switch → Connect while holding down the "X" button
The above procedure will enable FW updates/initialization/pass-through.
If you accidentally change and delete the START button in the WEB CONFIG settings, there is a BOOT PIN on the circuit board inside the unit, so you can connect the wire of any button to it, and then while pressing the connected button, connect the USB to proceed to step 1.
The BOOT button for DRM Slim is located inside the main unit, so you can proceed to step 1 by pressing this button while connecting the USB.
